Delawie Acquires SimonGlover, Inc.
San Diego founded architecture firm expands with Los Angeles-area location

Delawie acquired SimonGlover, Inc., a Los Angeles area-based architecture firm, effective Monday, January 23, 2023. This is the first acquisition in Delawie history. It also marks the first time the firm will operate two offices. Matthew Simon AIA, Principal and owner of SimonGlover, will join Michael L. Asaro, AIA, LEED AP, Paul E. Schroeder, AIA, Associate DBIA, Frank Ternasky, AIA, LEED AP and Greg McClure, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, David Irelan, LEED AP, Alison N. Morita, LEED AP and Michael McGuire as a principal of the firm.

“By acquiring SimonGlover, establishing an additional physical office and expanding our staff, it will allow us the opportunity to offer even greater service to our Southern California clients,” Ternasky shared. “This is an exciting occasion in Delawie’s storied history and represents one element of what we’re doing at Delawie to ensure the continued success of the firm for our team, clients and community.”

The acquisition of SimonGlover and operating an office in Los Angeles County, provides Delawie the strategic ability to establish itself in the industrial market and expand its reach to new clients. Although Delawie has clients across the nation and who span the globe, the additional office provides greater opportunity to positively impact the Southern California region and beyond.

SimonGlover, Inc., founded in 2005 by Simon and his then-business partner Brian Glover, provided their clients quality architectural services for a variety of building types from concept planning through construction completion.

“We look forward to the possibilities this allows us all,” Simon expressed. “We will all continue to learn and grow in our capabilities as we leverage our experience and expand our Southern California footprint.”

Delawie will now operate two offices – San Diego County and Los Angeles County. All staff of what was SimonGlover, Inc. are now Delawie employees.
