Frank has led a variety of corporate, hospitality and life science projects over his 30+ year career. He is nationally recognized for his architectural designs that exemplify sustainable strategies on a broad range of scales and typologies.

Ternasky joined Delawie in 1997 and was promoted to Principal in 2002. With more than 30 years of experience in design, construction and project management, he leads the firm’s premier hospitality projects.

His diverse portfolio of projects includes a variety of clients, uses, and building construction types. His focus has narrowed within the past decade to develop specific expertise in the hospitality and corporate market sectors. Frank has led many of the firm’s premier hospitality projects including Marriott’s Moxy Hotel and Hilton’s Canopy Hotel both located in downtown San Diego as well as The Seabird Resort and Mission Pacific Hotel both in Oceanside.
